A BRA THAT FITS & A CAN OPENER THAT WORKS

I just remembered something very important while over looking at sophie's mommy's new blog.
and I never want to forget it.
I always told my oldest daughter when she asked "how much do you love me?", I told her, you'll NEVER KNOW THAT, until you have a baby of your very own.
When Blake was born and she was holding him for the first time, I was lucky enough to be able to lean down and whisper,"Do you know how much I love you now?" She looked at me and smiled, it was then I knew, SHE KNEW! THAT'S PROBABLY #2 ON A MOMMY'S GREATEST MOMENTS LISTS. MY #1 being, Mommy, I accepted Jesus as my Savior today!
**WHAT'S YOUR MOMMY'S GREATEST MOMENTS LIST?**
When was the last time you thought you would be just beside yourself if you saw gas for 2.59? I was driving home from work and saw that the local gas station gas prices had dropped since leaving for work this morning by 10 cents.
I was beside myself with glee! Mind you I have no travel plans, other than the 5 minute commute to work each morning and back.
But just to know they dropped actually made me happy.
I DO BELIEVE I'M GETTING OLD!
Just rememebering going thru south carolina a mere 7 yrs ago while moving. Gas prices were .69 per gallon. YES .69CENTS. IF I saw that today, I would probably push old-er people out of the way to get it whether or not I needed it. Just to be able to say I got it at that price.
What a boring life I lead!

This is my Blakie-Blake boy. The most beautiful baby in the whole world.
I've been visiting with Perri over at her blog "My life in bits & pieces" waiting for the beautiful Sophie to arrive and see her beautiful pictures. And boy, she is not stingy with the pictures!
All her talk of Sophie's birth, brought back everything a new "Meme" was feeling some 15 months ago!
I thought I might share a few with you and of course, I know many of you have been wondering what the most beautiful boy in the world must look like. and well....here he is, in all his glory.
Now the story behind this picture is, well, a look at his mama's since of humor. Which I'm not sure I like. Her being my baby, and all. I don't know where she gets it.
I get this picture in my email with the title surprise! Any body with any guesses as to what my little man is holding? That's right, his mama's pregnancy test, which you can see is positive!
Why anybody in their right mind wants kids so close together is beyond me. (mine are all 4 yrs apart) and the only thing that saved their lives I'm sure. But, it seems meme's and pepaw's don't get a say in these things. But that's ok, I'll just spoil "Olivia" and send her home too!
I have decided God gave me all girls for a reason, Blake will run you to death and I think it's because he is a boy. My girls didn't act like him. So..Blake's mama (my baby) must have a girl, cause meme can't do boys! and I've named her Olivia. I don't care that my daughter and her husband do not like it. Maybe I'll change her name a little later on, as the mood hits. I'll be sure and let you know if I do.
All of this is a great feat for me, just ask yellow mama. Figuring out how to put the picture, ect on here and all.
So tomorrow, I will regale you with the story of the day the pretty boy was born!!

THIS BOOK!! IF ONLY, IF ONLY........
I've already told you how I came about this book. While reading the book, I came upon 3 yellowed sheets of paper, and one poem cut from a newspaper. One of the papers is from a program of sorts. It reads: Racine-KenoshaRURAL NORMAL SCHOOL BULLETINPUBLISHED THE FIRST OF EACH MONTH EXCEPT JUNE-SEPT.The Racine-Kenosha Rural Normal School for TeachersClass matter, Jan. 1, 1927 Racine-Kenosha Rural Normal SchoolUnion Grove, Wis.1928 Summer SessionIt goes on to tell them where they go for board and room and that book rental fees for this session will be 1.00 On the back of this page it gives the GOALS for Racine-Kenosha Counties for the school year 1928-19291
- Well mannered, industrious children in our schools
2-Every child in a clean, orderly school room
3-Better oral and written expression on the part of our pupils
4-Better school room pictures (?)
5-More beautiful school grounds
6-A standardized, well selected list of references for use in teaching the various subjects
7-Definite professional growth annually on the part of every teacher
(if this were the case today, I may not have to send my child to a private school)
Politeness is to do and say the kindest thing in the kindest way Hearts, like doors, will open with easeto very, very little keys; And don't forget that two of these Are "Thank you, sir, and If you please".I'll leave you with this little poem from the program.Tomorrow will be: Be Courteous, examples for the boy.
